Who we are

What we collect

  • Forms: your name, business name and type, town, WhatsApp number, email address and anything you write in your message.
  • WhatsApp and email: your number or address and the messages you send us.
  • Usage data: anonymous counts of clicks from this site to herbsforafrica.com, and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.

We do not collect payment details. Purchases happen on herbsforafrica.com and are covered by Herbs for Africa’s own privacy policy.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and help you choose products.
  • To pass a wholesale or own-brand enquiry to Herbs for Africa when you ask us to.
  • To send you emails or WhatsApp messages you have agreed to receive. You can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

Herbs for Africa, only for enquiries you ask us to pass on, and service providers who help us run this site and send messages (web hosting and our email delivery provider). We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law. Ask us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, object to its use, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email info@herbsforafrica.co.za. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
